The Ford Family has been in Business since the early 1900's Long before refrigeration, Lee Ford started his business by selling ice. As his customers moved away from the Icebox, he went into the coal business. During WWII he became a leading supplier of coal. His son Don Ford was in the Finance and Real Estate business.       John Garlow, Lee's grandson, is keeping the family in the business community. John Garlow founded Ford Business Machines, Inc. in 1991. Ford Business Machines is a highly competetive distributor of multifunctional office equipment and laser scanning services. Following in his uncle's footsteps, Mr. Garlow is also involved in real estate ventures. He is a partner in Ginger Hill Tavern, a large restaurant in Slippery Rock and is involved locally in community development.
